HEO will be continuing with MHA hosted In Person coaching clinics for the 2023-24 season.  MHA’s are to apply to host Coaching Clinics through the online Portal. Coach Clinics can start after Aug 25th
 
 
 
All coaches, Staff and Trainers will be required to take:

Level 1 Clinic

Coaching Clinics
 
For the 2023-24 season all clinics will be conducted by HEO Instructors through the MHA. The MHA is responsible for booking the classroom and ice time, at their own expense. Refreshments etc.. for the coaches are at the MHA’s discretion. Clinic criteria/information is as follows:
 
 
 
Coach 1:
  • The clinic will consist of 5 hours of Class time and 1.5 hours of ice time. Class time must come before the Ice time. We ask for ice time just after lunch
  • Cost of the clinic is $100 plus tax per person.
  • Clinics are to be run during the day. For example: 8am-3pm or 9am-4pm
 
 
Coach 2:  

Development 1:
  • The format for the Development 1 clinic will remain the same for 2023-24, as it was in the 2022-23 season.
  • The clinic will consist of an Online Virtual Portion, and a 1 day In Class portion.
  • The Online Virtual Portion will be a 3 hour Zoom clinic/call that will take place the Friday night before the In Person Clinic.
  • The In Class portion will take place on Saturday or Sunday
  • The In Person Clinic will take place from 8am to 5pm and will require 1.5 hours of Ice Time- right around Lunch Time.
  • Cost of the clinic is $150 plus tax per person.
 
**MHA’s can charge on top of the HEO to recoup their cost for hosting the clinic

We will be offering weekly free Professional Development clinics throughout the season. The schedule is being worked on, and will be sent out once it is finalized
